  In my house it is pretty difficult to keep my kitchen towels from ending up on the floor. In an effort to keep from going through 100 towels a day I made this towel hanger. It keeps the towel from slipping off the oven door and onto the floor.  It really works well. I just used some scrap yarn I had left over from some other projects and I think next time I won't use a textured yarn like I did just because you can't see the cool detail of the pattern like you can with just a basic worsted weight.  I found the pattern over at Little Birdie Secrets which really is a neat blog full of great ideas and tutorials.
